- How you will make an impact Lead the development of design specifications and models, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and regulations Create precise engineering drawings using 2D and 3D CAD systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications by applying standard internal processes and tools Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on schedule Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and seek opportunities for design innovations Infuse creativity into R&D projects with your innovative ideas and propose follow-up initiatives within your technical domain Prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing Engage constructively in team settings, sharing your technical knowledge to support colleagues in achieving timely and high-quality results Your background Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design using CAD systems in R&D or engineering, preferably in high voltage equipment or components.
- Experience with bushings is valued Proficiency using 3D modelling tools and creating and maintaining BOMs Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
