Main responsibilities
- Classical routine activities in the histology laboratory (historical technology incl. freezing and special colouring; cytology; Digitalisation of cuts
- Acquisition of additional activities in additional areas such as immunohistochemistry, molecular biology (PCR, qRT-PCR, ISH), ELISA, immunoblotting, transmission electron microscopy, processing of laboratory animal samples
- Establishing new protocols based on established methods
- laboratory-specific tasks within the quality management of the IVPZ (ISO/IEC 17025); STS 255 Requirements
- Completed training as BMA, MTLA, biology laboratory:in or equivalent, with experience in histology
- Interest in learning new techniques, rapid comprehension, flexibility, reliable and exact working methods
- Team spirit, coupled with pleasure in working independently
- Good oral and written German skills, English skills are an advantage
