Full description
We are looking for 1. June 2027 or, by agreement, a reflected leader with strategic foresight, strong implementation competence and pleasure in actively shaping developments.
You take over the management of the complex and dynamic realization area. This includes services that help people with difficult conditions on the labour market to implement their development measures. The area has been repositioned in recent years with formative innovative offers. Now it is important to develop these offers sustainably and to lead the area strategically and operationally effectively.
The position will be filled due to the imminent retirement of the previous management.
Tasks
- As a member of the management team, you share responsibility for the strategic orientation and further development of the entire career center.
- They develop the realization area strategically and operationally, bring its perspective to the overall strategy of the LBZ and are responsible for the professional, personnel, organizational and financial management of the area.
- They lead four very different departments with a total of around 40 employees. You provide your four department leaders with orientation, strengthen their personal responsibility, make clear decisions even in complex situations and promote a learning and development-oriented culture.
- They maintain sustainable relationships with primary schools, school authorities, cantons, private providers and companies. You combine different interests and represent positions clearly and appropriately to the addressees.
Profile
- They have a university degree (Uni/ETH Master or FH) as well as a supplementary management or leadership training.
- They bring several years of senior management experience in a larger, complex organization, ideally in leadership.
- They think strategically and conceptually, recognize complex relationships and translate large lines into implementable structures. At the same time, they do not shy away from operational tasks, which they pursue with detail and tenacity.
- They combine different management approaches in a sovereign and situational manner – from the promotion of self-responsible action to clear leadership and consistent decisions.
- They have sound management skills and can manage human and financial resources in an impact-oriented and reliable manner. You use your high level of implementation and change competence pragmatically.
- They navigate sovereignly in the field of tension between political requirements, institutional framework conditions and the concrete needs of the target groups.
- They also engage in controversial discussions within the management, address tensions adequately and contribute to viable solutions.
- You reflect your attitude and actions and live a culture of learning and continuous development.
- They have strong social and communication skills in order to constructively bring different stakeholders together and align them with common goals. You are also happy to contribute a touch of humor.
- They have experience in the psychosocial field, in professional integration or in the education sector.
We offer
