At Vontobel, we work on the central platforms of our investment house. Our Avaloq core banking system and its core platforms form the foundation of many business-critical processes. For our Core System Management team, we are looking for a motivated and technology-enthusiastic personality who takes responsibility, drives modern automation and ensures the stable operation of our platforms.

You are not simply part of an operating team – you actively shape the further development of our core banking landscape.

Your tasks with us

• You plan, coordinate and distribute releases in the Avaloq Core Banking System and on the container platform (ACPR).
• You ensure the successful introduction of changes across all environments – from development to production.
• You take responsibility for end-of-period processing in Avaloq.
• You will operate, monitor and optimize Avaloq and ACPR platforms together with internal and external partners.
• You will continuously develop and automate deployment, build and release processes.
• You work with modern CI/CD methods and advance the standardization of technical processes.
• You analyze technical incidents and identify sustainable improvement measures.
• You will work closely with Avaloq specialists, software engineers, test engineers, service managers and infrastructure teams.
• You bring your own ideas and actively shape the future of our core banking platform.

What are we looking for?

• You have experience in the operation, engineering or release management of business-critical applications.
• You are interested in modern platforms, automation and complex technical contexts.
• Ideally, you know Avaloq or want to familiarize yourself with this environment.
• You bring experience with Git as well as CI/CD pipelines: ideally you know GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar tools.
• Safe handling of Unix/Linux systems as well as good knowledge of scripting or automation are advantageous.
• You work structured, self-responsible and solution-oriented.
• You communicate appropriately and enjoy working across teams.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
• Readiness for planned weekend assignments and pikett.
• You use modern automation and AI-supported tools to continuously develop operational and engineering processes.
