You would like to work later as a family doctor and are looking for a further education that prepares you specifically for this? With the family curriculum at the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur, we offer you a structured training path with coordinated rotations and practical assistance. You benefit from a broad clinical education, get planning security for your next years of further education and are personally accompanied during the curriculum.

Tasks

• As part of the family curriculum, you complete various training stations that are specifically geared towards the later family medical activity.
• You start on Stationary General Internal Medicine for 12 months
• After that you rotate to emergency medicine (max. 90% workload) for 6 months
• Afterwards you are on orthopedics and traumatology for 6 months
• In the end, you are scheduled for half a year on acute medicine
• This is followed by a practice assistant in a family doctor's office of the region for 6-18 months

Profile

• Swiss doctor/doctor diploma or EU doctor/doctor diploma (MEBEKO recognition required)
• Mind. 2 years of experience, including 12 months of Inpatient General Internal Medicine
• Career goal as a general practitioner (FMH General Internal Medicine)
• Interest in long-term networking with health care in the Winterthur region
