Would you like to use your many years of experience as an architect where your professional judgment counts? As a construction consultant, you will assess construction projects for the canton of Zurich that are eligible for state and fund contributions and advise the commissioning specialist departments and offices, municipalities and private developers on demanding construction and construction economic issues. You combine your experience in planning and implementation with a sure eye for costs, quality and practical solutions. Your tasks

• You assess a variety of construction projects by public and private developers - for example for special schools or children's and youth homes - from a structural and economic perspective.
• Based on the applicable regulations, you examine the requirements for state contributions as well as contributions from the lottery and culture fund in a multi-stage process and thus create a well-founded basis for decision-making in accordance with the phases.
• You determine the spatial suitability of private schools, provide municipalities, private bodies and specialist departments with information on construction projects eligible for subsidies and promote the implementation of obstacle-free construction, including internally within the building construction authority.
• You bring in your experience from planning and implementation, constructively question solutions and suggest viable alternatives.
• You record your assessments in well-founded statements and reports in a level-appropriate and comprehensible manner. Your profile
• You have completed a degree in architecture (ETH/FH) and have many years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of demanding, preferably public, construction projects.
• Thanks to your broad experience across all project phases, you assess structural solutions holistically and with a clear eye for quality, practicality and feasibility.
• You have in-depth knowledge of construction cost planning and assessment and understand the essential real estate economics.
• You advise different stakeholders competently, communicate in an appropriate manner and represent your professional assessment convincingly and comprehensibly.
• You have a confident expression in German and get to the heart of complex issues precisely, even in writing.
