Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. Tasks: • You will get to know various areas in our modern large kitchen: more than 4500 menus per day! • Cold production (e.g. salads, sandwiches), hot production, dessert/patisserie. • Themed weeks, e.g. pizza week, tapas week. • Internship at Hotel Baur au Lac • The learning team participates in cooking competitions. • You visit the general vocational school in Zurich one day a week. Requirements • Sec. A or Sec. B • Start of work at 06.30 • Reliable, responsible and punctual • Teamwork • Great interest in food preparation • Strong hygiene awareness • Good sense of smell and taste • Robust health (work mainly standing) • Resilience in hectic situations We offer: • Discounted mobile and public transport subscription. • A flat rate of CHF 200 per year. • Events with other learners. • Good supervision: Our exam experts: inside prepare you for the QV (final exam). • Regulated working hours (no room hours and few weekend services)
