The Cantonal Police of Zurich and its approximately 4,000 employees assume responsibility for security in the canton. The airport police control department is responsible for carrying out passenger, hand luggage, staff and visitor checks in the terminals and inspects registered luggage, crews, private air passengers and airport staff at specific access points. For our airport police control department we are looking for reliable and motivated airport police security officers 60 - 100% tasks

• Carrying out passenger and baggage checks
• Checking baggage contents on the X-ray machine and carrying out passenger security checks
• Perform personal access checks of crew members and airport employees profile
• If you receive an application at least 18 and a maximum of 59 years old, Swiss citizenship or settlement permit C
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of German, basic knowledge of English
• Health: Physical resilience, sound and colour perception, good spatial thinking and visual discernment
• High communication skills and teamwork
• Impeccable reputation, professional appearance, physical strength, flexibility and confidentiality
• Readiness for fixed shift service and weekend assignments (time frame 04:05 to 24:00), in particular for taking over early shifts from 04:05 (no public transport connection)
• Willingness to take aptitude tests during the application process and regular certifications during employment offer
• Six weeks of full pay training
• Possibility to choose the employment relationship optionally in flexible self-planning in the hourly wage or with a fixed shift plan in the monthly wage within the free quotas after completion of the basic training
