As a (senior) underwriter of Liability International, you are responsible for major Swiss customers with national and international liability insurance. You are responsible for the underwriting and the management of the allocated portfolio. With your professional underwriting, you convince yourself of complex risks and actively participate in the customer and brokerage support as well as in the further development of our liability business.

What you do

• You independently draw new and existing business. This includes the development and implementation of innovative liability solutions, the setting of premiums and conditions, the negotiations with brokers and customers, profitability reviews including restructuring concepts and the associated administration.

• You advise and support our customers and brokers competently and sustainably

• You actively maintain your network with internal and external contacts and continuously expand it

• You participate in market observations, the further development of our products and market development

• You support projects – from planning to successful implementation

What you bring

• Completed commercial education or university studies – ideally supplemented by further education in the insurance industry or risk management

• Several years of practical professional experience in the civil liability insurance business, preferably with an international orientation

• Strong initiative as well as a communicative and team-oriented personality characterized by analytical and networked thinking, high personal responsibility and strong customer orientation

• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Good knowledge of French is an advantage
