Role overview
Introduction Located on the Lausanne campus, within the Rolex Learning Center, the EPFL Library is a key partner of the university community.
The Library is a centre of expertise and expertise in scientific information, serving EPFL's teaching and research missions.
The Training team (5 people) develops and offers a range of training for student and research communities at EPFL.

- Main tasks and responsibilities
- Development, organisation and facilitation of training
- Diploma in Information Sciences (HES, University) or training deemed equivalent, with experience in academic library. Or

- Development, organisation and facilitation of training
- To meet the needs of the EPFL community, in areas of expertise of the Library such as Information, Data and AI literacies
- Throughout the academic career, from Bachelor level to doctoral school
- Present or online, individually or in whole classes
- In close collaboration with library or EPFL specialists
- Creation of training in various formats and typologies (workshop, guide and tutorials, online courses, etc.) to meet the needs of a young and demanding audience.
- Support for library staff on pedagogy, organisation and logistics in their training activities
- Collaboration with internal and external partners EPFL to guarantee and develop a quality training offer
- Participation in the reception of library users (information desk, approx. 2 hours/week) Your assets to succeed in this position:
Key requirements
- Diploma in Information Sciences (HES, University) or training deemed equivalent, with experience in academic library. Or
Company and context
- Excellent personal organization, ability to work independently and in a team
- Common French practice and good knowledge of English (min. level B2) Your level of training:
- University title, complemented by proven experience in library
