Responsible for establishing, supporting and further developing the IT forensics department create a technical and professional basis for the rule of law acquisition, securing and processing of digital traces in criminal police proceedings and support the investigation process at home and abroad Contribute to the planning, preparation and implementation of digital criminal investigations and make a significant contribution to operational support, logistics and equipment in the field of IT forensics Support preventive measures to protect the army from IT-based crimes as well as business control and expert advice within the military police Forensic seizure and preparation of mobile devices, hard drives, SSDs and digital storage media of all kinds

- Basic police training or special expertise that replaces police training
- In-depth knowledge of military and civil criminal law and criminal procedural law, in particular with regard to digital proof protection
- Ability to convey criminal police content (especially IT forensics), pass on operational experience and train new employees in a practical manner
- Practical experience – ideally at a law enforcement authority – in the field of IT forensics as well as in dealing with common forensics tools
- CAS Cyber Investigation & Digital Forensics or comparable training in IT forensics desired or willing to complete it
- Active knowledge of at least one second official language (DE or FR, level B2)
