In this function, you are responsible for checks, approvals and monitoring of electrical safety-relevant topics and act as an independent decision-making and escalation body.

- You carry the overall technical responsibility for electrical safety in the Group and develop the electrical safety concept and the associated specifications further.
- You check and approve work and switching programs as well as other electrical safety decisions for low and medium voltage systems.
- As a decision-making and escalation body, you assess risks, deviations and exceptional cases and ensure compliance with the applicable requirements.
- The professional responsibility for maintenance and maintenance contracts in the environment of transformer stations and area networks (network operator role) is in your hands.
- You ensure professional governance in the field of electrical safety and are responsible for topics relating to qualifications, authorizations and their effectiveness.
- As a central specialist and contact point for authorities, in particular for the Swiss Federal Power Inspectorate (ESTI), as well as for internal stakeholder groups, you provide competent advice on electrical safety-related issues.
- You will continue to develop the electrical safety organisation and its processes with regard to new technical, regulatory and operational requirements and perform an independent testing, approval and decision-making function.
