- Define the integration levels, quality gates between those levels, and the Continuous Integration (CI) roadmap.
- Establish governance for global implementation environments and automated verification pipelines across the divergent development teams of system products.
- Lab & Emulator Topology Strategy: Define the virtual, hybrid, and physical lab setup strategy.
- Lead the conceptual design and architecture of the digital twin landscapes, and hardware/software emulator topologies required to accurately mirror different systems that compose the solution.
- Design for Testability: Act as the final technical gatekeeper by reviewing system use cases, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and high-level requirements to guarantee verifiable testability at the solution level.
- Identify and prioritize critical architectural risks for E2E solution workflows.
- Cross-Functional Product Boundaries: Establish and enforce clear cross-functional test and technical responsibilities across the product delivery nodes (e.g., hardware instruments, embedded control units, navify workflow software edge & cloud).
- Technical Guidance & Automation Vision: Provide dedicated technical leadership, automation strategy, and coaching to embedded integration engineers, test automation developers, and analysts across the Solution Train.
