The Darwin product team brings the right recommendations to the right people every day.
We develop and operate a recommendation platform with a wide range of use cases: from similar products to suitable accessories and trendy new products to personalized rankings and much more.
We use it to play out over 30 million recommendations in real time every day.

- You coordinate content and technical interfaces with other teams, for example around GraphQL or Kafka, bringing together both our own requirements and the needs of other teams
- You coach software engineers and have the social skills to communicate complex content and concepts in an understandable way

Main responsibilities
- You coordinate content and technical interfaces with other teams, for example around GraphQL or Kafka, bringing together both our own requirements and the needs of other teams
- You coach software engineers and have the social skills to communicate complex content and concepts in an understandable way
- You work hands-on with the development team on the product and combine implementation with architectural foresight.
- You ensure that clean code, sustainable architecture and appropriate test coverage are part of the development
- You take on the main technical responsibility for the successful implementation of demanding software projects and support the team in building robust and scalable solutions
- You move in an ML-related environment and regularly exchange ideas with our data professionals, for example Topics such as integrating ML components, selecting technology or operating different models - you feel comfortable in an agile, experimental environment and like to contribute your own ideas.
- A/B testing, the interpretation of the results and the derivation of measures are of course requisites for you
- At least 2 years of professional experience: In a software architect role
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): In computer science (or you have sufficient relevant professional experience)
- You are an experienced software engineer who not only plans complex cloud software on the whiteboard, but also successfully puts it into productive operation
