Role overview

Tasks

• They accompany a child in the 2nd year of kindergarten with socio-educational needs empathetically and reliably in standard lessons.

• They support the child in emotion regulation and impulse control - and experience how relationship work enables real progress in 1:1 setting.

• They are a trusting bridge between children, class teachers, professionals and parents.

• You are a full member of the school team and actively participate in school events.

• The accompaniment usually takes place on Mondays to Fridays in the morning - with regulated working hours and a clear framework.

Requirements

• They have completed training in social pedagogy and bring the necessary craft for demanding accompanying work.

• Relationship work is your strength: you meet children warmly, clearly and at eye level.

• You are a person who stays calm even in challenging moments and thinks solution-oriented.

• Experience accompanying kindergarten children, ideally with behavioral problems, is a plus, but not a condition.

The primary level Ettingen is a learning place where appreciative cooperation, learning in a variety of ways and a good interpersonal climate are lived.
