- Holder of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized social school of type HES (social work line) or university degree (Bachelor or Master's degree), deemed useful for the exercise of the job;
- SEFRI recognition required for foreign degrees;
- Good knowledge in the field of child development and family issues, as well as legal knowledge in the field of family law;
- Ability to conduct difficult interviews, and management of conflict relations in particular in the context of forced aid;
- Adaptability, flexibility and stress management;
- High-level analytical, synthesis and editorial capacity;
- Knowledge of the voodoo network in connection with the protection of minors, of the decision-making system, of the assessment tools for the protection of minors and of the organisation and legal standards;
- Driver's licence category B required and use of the private vehicle provided for in the activity.

- To participate in the organization of the Regional Office for the Protection of Minors (guard, colloquium, co-operation in duet for certain situations, working group, etc.) and in meetings organised by the department (plenary, working group, etc.).
- Comparing to court hearings as an expert.
- Maintain and develop its skills continuously, according to the requirements set by the service and according to its personal needs validated by the hierarchy.
