Context & Environment: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping operates at the heart of international energy markets, bringing together trading activities across a broad range of energy commodities and financial products.
Based in Geneva, you will join the Trading Accounting team supporting TotalEnergies Gas & Power activities , covering natural gas, LNG, power, emissions and derivatives.
You will support a large and complex trading activity involving physical and financial transactions across multiple markets, counterparties and systems.

- Support the Trading Accounting Manager and progressively take ownership of delegated topics and responsibilities.
- Act as a senior point of reference for less experienced members of the team and contribute to their development.
Main responsibilities
- Support the Trading Accounting Manager and progressively take ownership of delegated topics and responsibilities.
- Act as a senior point of reference for less experienced members of the team and contribute to their development.
- Lead or contribute to projects related to ERP and ETRM systems, reconciliation tools, reporting solutions and automation.
- Translate accounting and business requirements into system and process improvements, participate in testing and support implementation.
- Use data and digital tools to improve the efficiency, reliability and scalability of Trading Accounting processes.
- Candidate Profile: You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience within energy, commodities or trading would be highly valued.
- Strong accounting expertise and a good understanding of how transactions flow through a trading organisation.
- Previous exposure to commodity trading and/or derivatives accounting.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and/or relevant statutory accounting requirements.
