- Requirements of the various projects Support for the acquisition of new projects abroad presentation of contributions at international conferences
- Submission of articles in peer-reviewed journals Master in Natural Sciences or Engineering; A promotion is beneficial Experience with meteorological measurement systems (including ground and atmospheric observations, in particular for GBON variables); additional experience with hydrological measurement techniques is an advantage experience in the processing, storage and dissemination of meteorological data
- Experience with WMO-relevant open source tools (wis2box, ADL, climweb, surface CDMS, ...) is an advantage Agile and solution-oriented thinking with analytical and independent working methods; a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work efficiently in a team of experts
- Practical experience with databases, virtual machines/cloud computing and Python programming is beneficial Strong intercultural awareness and empathetic thinking, safe in dealing with a large number of international scientific, technical and administrative partners You have a good knowledge of two official languages and fluent knowledge of English
