Deployed at several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations at two sites, two departments for adults with disabilities, with an intellectual disability with a physical problem, a specialized school and a workshop and vocational training sector respectively.

At the Institution of Lavigny, we accompany adults with disabilities on a daily basis, particularly with an intellectual disability and/or a polydisability. The night watchman is in charge of active evening and night surveillance from Monday to Sunday from 9:45 to 7:15.

Your Mission

We are looking for a night watchman to accompany the people welcomed in the acts related to daily life in the evening and at night, according to the concept of accompaniment for people with disabilities. It ensures the continuity of this support in line with institutional, sector, group and individual projects. The objective is to actively monitor those welcomed on night rest times. Your main responsibilities

• Accompany guests in the evening and at night;
• Ensure the physical and psychological comfort and security of the person being received;
• Monitoring individual projects;
• Collaborate in partnership with the members of the day team.

Your profile

• Red Cross Certification;
• Social skills;
• Ability to work independently and take initiatives;
• Meaning of observation and organization;
• Aisance in oral and written communication;
• Ability to experience empathy, to question oneself, to have a global vision.
