We are looking for a doctor with the aim of acquiring the Swiss qualification as a specialist in nuclear medicine. The position is suitable both for candidates with previous experience in nuclear medicine and for people who want to enter the field. Supervision is ensured by the experienced cadre doctors of the department.

The job offers you

• direct and gradual access to the full range of diagnostic tests;

The design and implementation of an own research project is also supported, in particular with regard to fulfilling the requirements of the SIWF training programme.

• Swiss medical diploma or equivalent foreign medical diploma recognised by MEBEKO

Clinique de Genolier is part of the Swiss Medical Network, a Swiss-wide network of around 25 hospitals and more than 70 health centres. The Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Clinique de Genolier is recognised as a SIWF training centre of category B for a maximum period of training of two years. She offers a position as assistant physician or as senior physician i.V. Our center is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub in the heart of the Genolier campus, in close proximity to the departments of radio-oncology and radiology. It is one of two European GE HealthCare Centers of Excellence in Molecular Imaging and Theranostics and a founding member of the international network of GE HealthCare Innovation Centers. The centre actively cooperates with several Swiss and regional hospitals and institutions, including the University Hospitals of Geneva, the Lucerne Canton Hospital, the Nyon and Morges hospitals, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes Léman and the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. We have an active research program in advanced imaging, artificial intelligence and clinical trials. In addition, we support students of technical universities as well as experienced researchers. In the coming months, the first commercially deployed OMNI total body PET system with an axial coverage of 128 cm, the world’s first commercial upgrade of a StarGuide system to the GX dual-sided configuration and a theranostics unit with radiation-protected patient rooms will be put into operation. The centre offers the full range of diagnostic examinations for adult patients, especially in the fields of oncology, PET cardiology and neurology. In addition, we perform all conventional nuclear medical examinations as well as comprehensive multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT examinations. You will become part of a team of five cadre doctors. Two of them have university connections: one person at the University Hospitals of Geneva and another as head of the Theranostic Unit of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. Her further training is also carried out under the supervision of specialists with two federal specialist titles, in particular in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.
