Full description
We are looking for our Tertianum Le Pacific site located in Etoy (80 residents) a Cheffe Nurse or Chief Nurse.
Your Responsibilities
Quality and safety of care
- Ensuring safe and appropriate care for each resident: care plans, protocols, prevention of falls, escarres and medication errors.
- Supervise and update care needs assessments (PLAISIR).
- Monitoring quality indicators and guaranteeing cantonal regulations on care.
- Promote the internal reporting procedure in case of abuse or dangerous care.
Care team management
- Supervise the two unit managers and, through them, the entire team.
- Ensure planning in accordance with the Vaudoise Public Health Commission and the allocation.
- Recruit, integrate and train collaborators; conduct annual interviews.
- Acting on absenteeism and team climate, with listening and demand.
Pilotage and resources
- Monitor monthly staffing, replacement and acting, and care budget.
- Present these indicators to the monthly review with management, with proposals for correction.
Coordination
- Work with responding physicians, pharmacy, hospitals and the network that directs residents.
- Be the interlocutor or contact of families for care issues, including in difficult situations.
- Collaborate with socio-cultural, hospitality and cooking (regimes, textures, life projects).
Continuity and projects
- Ensure the clinical and operational continuity of the site in the absence of the Director.
- Representing care in the residents' life projects approach.
- Work with La Gottaz Cheffe Nurse to harmonize practices.
Your profile
- Diploma of nurse (Bachelor HES or ES), recognized in Switzerland; recognition of the Swiss Red Cross for a foreign diploma.
- Health management training (CAS or DAS in management, or equivalent), completed or ongoing.
- Confirmed experience as a caregiver, ideally in EMS, geriatrics or psychogeriatrics.
- Community leadership: presence on the ground, listening, ability to federate and calm, while remaining demanding.
- Rigueur sur la qualité et la sécurité , et good knowledge of Vaudois cantonal requirements.
- Organized and methodical, comfortable with schedules, indicators and figures.
- Autonomous and responsible: you decide at your level and raise a problem with a solution.
- Clear and caring communication with families, doctors and teams.
- Tools: computerized care record (careCoach) and planning tool
- Excel's mastery is an asset.
- Languages: French
- German is an asset.
