Role overview
The Industry Liaison Officer develops, supports and nurtures a trustful relationship between EPFL's industrial partners and EPFL ecosystem.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term relationship between industrial accounts and EPFL.
You will be able to identify needs and requirements to develop industry – academia collaboration.

- Build relationships with new industry partners.
- Actively contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of our Open Innovation Program, ensuring a high-value experience for participating companies and alignment with institutional objectives.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of companies and professors' needs and ensure appropriate collaboration models and services are developed and delivered.
- Link to other EPFL entities depending on the needs.
- Acquire a strong knowledge and understanding of EPFL ecosystem for helping companies to identify the right partners for their innovation projects
- Be proactive in proposing new potential collaboration opportunities by following EPFL research activities.
- Resolve any issues and problems the partner faces and deal with complaints to maintain trust and enrich existing collaboration.
- Serve as the communication link between companies, researchers, EPFL & VPI teams and services.
Company and context
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organization levels and different cultures.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French is required, and other languages (e.g., German/) would be a plus.

- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts using key account metrics.
- Support the different VPI and EPFL industry support programs and contribute developing new services for VPI and EPFL.
