Role overview

Tasks

• Personnel, technical, organisational and financial management of the Office

• Strategic orientation and positioning of the service

• Ensuring a sustainable and innovative orientation and positioning of the office, including ongoing review and optimization of existing processes

• Support for the Government Council in all official matters

• Management of official activities from preparation to decision-making to ensuring implementation

• Maintaining partnerships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders incl. Cooperation with management, management, departments, superior government council as well as participation in (inter) cantonal and national commissions, working groups and bodies, such as Cantonal Leadership Staff Basel-Landschaft (KFS)

Requirements

• They have a completed degree (FH, HF, university) preferably in the field of forestry, environmental science or comparable as well as proven professional experience in the topics of forest and game and ideally in other topics of the office (hunting, fishing, wood).

• In addition, you have convincing leadership experience, are well-versed in concept development as well as strong implementation and achieve set goals.

• You are a responsible, decision-making and open-minded leader.

• Furthermore, you are loyal, experienced and successful in dealing with different stakeholders.
