Role overview
Your Mission Within the Real-Time Network (RTN) team, you design, deploy, operate and evolve IP network infrastructures that transport the audio and video streams of our production environments: radio, filmed radio and television.
You intervene on high-performance and highly available network architectures, based mainly on Arista equipment and SMPTE ST 2110 standards.
These infrastructures support critical production services and real-time media flows.

- Design, deploy and evolve IP network architectures dedicated to the transport of real-time media flows.
- Advanced training in computer science, telecommunications or networks, or courses deemed equivalent.
- Experience confirmed in the engineering or operation of IP networks, ideally in a critical or high availability environment.
Main responsibilities
- Your responsibilities
- Design, deploy and evolve IP network architectures dedicated to the transport of real-time media flows.
- Configure and administer network equipment, mainly based on Arista techonlogies.
- Administer and evolve the Nevion VideoIPath orchestration platform.
- Integrate and provide broadcast equipment and systems into VideoIPath.
- Implement connectivity, multicast, synchronization and redundancy services for SMPTE ST 2110 environments.
- Participate in projects to create, renovate and migrate production infrastructure.
- Prepare for production and accompany the transition of new solutions to exploitation.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support and diagnosis of incidents affecting RTN infrastructure.
- Monitor the availability, performance and capacity of media networks.
Key requirements
- Advanced training in computer science, telecommunications or networks, or courses deemed equivalent.
- Experience confirmed in the engineering or operation of IP networks, ideally in a critical or high availability environment.
- Good control of IP network technologies (routing, switching, multicast and high availability).
- Good understanding of Linux environments and network administration tools.
- Ability to analyse users' needs and to offer suitable solutions.
- Interest in media infrastructure, real-time systems and new technologies.
- Spirit of analysis, autonomy, rigour and focus.
- Experience in teamwork and collaboration with specialists in different fields.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.
- Mastery of English, German is also desired. Constitute assets
- Experience Arista EOS and CloudVision environments.
- Practice of BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MLAG or comparable technologies.
