Retail Designer — Audemars Piguet

Full description

You will report to the Manager Design Architect and be part of the Architecture & Design team. Your main mission will be to work closely with the in-house architects to develop new creative concepts for our various points of sale, in line with the brand's identity, strategy and established procedures. Thanks to your experience, you will actively contribute to the creative direction of projects and you will be able to ensure their development until their completion, guaranteeing the coordination of stakeholders, the respect of schedules, the control of budgets and the consistency of the design with the brand's standards.

Your main activities will be to

• Participate in defining the creative vision of new projects in collaboration with the Store Design Planning team
• Designing innovative, elegant and timeless concepts in the worlds of hospitality, luxury and retail
• Translating functional needs and brand identity into consistent and differentiating spatial experiences
• Create and present design concepts through mood boards, visual presentations and 3D sketches
• Ensure the development of projects from the conceptual phase to their completion
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure design intent is met
• Manage projects by ensuring compliance with quality objectives, budgets, schedules and deadlines
• Selecting furniture, lighting, materials and finishes, guaranteeing their aesthetic, technical and budgetary coherence
• Actively monitor trends, materials, innovations and market developments
• You have a background in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent
• You have at least 7 years of experience in interior design, concept creation and development of high-end projects, ideally in an international environment
• You ideally have experience in the retail and/or luxury sectors.
• You have an excellent design culture as well as a strong aesthetic sensibility applied to commercial, hospitality and premium environments
• You have a good knowledge of FF&E, furniture, materials, finishes and innovative solutions on the market
• You are proficient in design and graphic representation tools, including AutoCAD (2D) and SketchUp (3D)
• Proficiency in complementary software such as Adobe Creative Suite, V-Ray or equivalents is an asset
• Creative, autonomous and rigorous, you demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, a strong ability to propose and ease in an international and multicultural environment
• You have a perfect command of French and English, both written and spoken
