THE LABORATORY OF MICROBIOLOGY IN THE HOSPITAL RESEARCH

MAIN MISSIONS

• Recording requests for analyses
• Seeding of microbiology samples
• Based on experience: Direct examinations (Gram, Acridine) and rapid tests, reading of cultures and antibiograms
• Medical analyses in the field of molecular biology: PCR GeneXpert (Cepheid), QIAstat (Qiagen), Flash10 (Coyote), MDX Liaison (DiaSorin)
• Performance of quality checks according to the Qualab guidelines
• Maintenance of equipment
• Health and safety compliance
• Possible weekly guards until 10pm (no night guards)
• Possible weekend guards until 10pm (no night guards)

SKILLS – REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

• Swiss ES Diploma in Biomedical Analysis or equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
• Experience in a similar environment (e.g. an internship)
• Organization and focus
• Self-reliance and teamwork
