- This gives you the opportunity to combine theory and practice and to incorporate your research directly into real applications.
- Project background After each major earthquake, the probability of a similarly large or even a larger quake increases in the short term.
- Although the probability increases significantly, the absolute values often remain small.
- This makes comprehensible and addressable communication challenging.
- In the earthquake probability project, you will investigate how to comprehend such information in a comprehensible, helpful and appealing way for various applications.
- In addition, you are involved in the European project EARTH-AID, where we develop agent-based AI to support the assessment of geological hazards.
