Role overview
Mission As Deputy EM-PP / Head of Quality Assurance, you are piloting the EPFL quality system and ensuring the preparation and follow-up of institutional accreditation.
As such, you advise the Directorate in defining, implementing and monitoring its quality assurance policy.
You support the Presidency teams in the quality control and drafting of various strategic and thematic documents.

Main responsibilities

- Manage EPFL's quality assurance system and coordinate institutional accreditation processes
- Conduct the Quality Commission on behalf of the Directorate and coordinate its work, as well as the quality action plans and their deployment in collaboration and in support of the various governance bodies and the EPFL community
- Promote a quality culture within the institution, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, and maintain links with counterparts of other academic institutions in Switzerland and internationally
- Close collaboration with the risk management department and compliance
- Prepare and ensure quality control of the Directorate's documents, in particular in relation to the files of the Vice-President in charge of education and research and the files of the Presidency
- Contribute to the drafting of regulations related to the Directorate's files and ensure their effective implementation in collaboration with Legal Affairs
- Lead, coordinate or contribute to governance projects related to the Presidency Staff Profile MSc or PhD
- Project management with continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of Swiss accreditation standards
