Founded in Lausanne in 1843, the Asylum for the Blind Foundation includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, university ophthalmology department, a research center, the Educational Center for visually impaired students (CPHV), the social service, rehabilitation and low vision and the Clair-Soleil medico-social establishment.
More than 600 employees work every day in the visual health service to offer diagnostic, treatment and support services to people with vision problems.
To complete our team, we are looking for a
Billing Collaborator
Your mission
- Handle outpatient billing processes (entry of services, pre-billing checks)
- Analyzes and monitoring of activity in collaboration with the various stakeholders (doctors, medical-technical and administrative staff)
- Develop and update documentation of best practices as well as internal procedures
- Processing of pediatric oncology files (foreign patients)
- Tracking medical inquiries
- Manage and process the return of XML and paper invoices (cancellation, modification, justification)
- Respond to internal and external requests related to outpatient billing
- Contribution to improving the efficiency of processes and the digitalization of activities
- Extractions, formatting, analyzes of invoicing data (Excel, Opale)
Your assets · Holder of a CFC in commerce, or training deemed equivalent · Proven professional experience of at least 3 years in billing or pricing of health services, ideally in a hospital, clinic, or health insurance (benefits department) · Computer skills and very good command of Excel, knowledge of OPALE, an asset · Good knowledge of outpatient billing in Switzerland, LAMal, Tardoc and outpatient packages · Ability to analyze and interpret medical services and their billing rules · Experience in billing, benefit monitoring, medical pricing or invoice processing, an asset · Excellent writing skills · English level A2 · Autonomous, organized, rigorous and comfortable in managing priorities and deadlines · Flexible, with good interpersonal skills and good team spirit · Analytical spirit and solutions orientation · Motivated by achieving objectives within a team specialized in billing and pricing
