A Day in the Life of a Coffee Automation Digital Engineer
- Serve as the technical expert on state of the art digital and automation tools and technologies used in coffee and build organisational capability through the train the trainer approach.
- Lead the exploration and development of digital capabilities in collaboration with IT, Zones, and technology partners to continuously evolve the Digital & Automation roadmap for coffee.
- Oversee the deployment and adoption of the Digital & Automation roadmap across Zones and operations, ensuring effective technology transfer and sustainable implementation.
- Drive and technically evaluate proofs of concept, assessing improvements and supporting the successful scale up of validated technologies.
- Establish and maintain digital and automation technology standards, ensuring alignment across Zones and promoting best practice sharing throughout the coffee manufacturing network.
