OUR RESEARCH GERIATRICS TEAM

MAIN MISSIONS

• Exercise clinical practice of advanced nursing care with hospitalized elderly patients
• Carry out geriatric assessments in emergency rooms, in care units to determine optimal orientation
• Develop evidence-based, individualized care plan proposals to meet complex patient needs
• Provide clinical support to nurses and other health professionals and promote interprofessional collaboration
• Promote the development of self-care skills of elderly hospitalized patients
• Train interdisciplinary teams in geriatric syndromes
• Manage clinical projects for the geriatrics department
• Monitor quality indicators for managing healthcare performance
• Participate in the implementation of the institutional strategy

SKILLS – REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in geriatrics (2 years)
• Hold a master’s degree in Nursing Sciences
• Leadership skills, sense of responsibility, team spirit
• Relational and communication skills to interact effectively with elderly patients, their families, doctors and healthcare teams
• Know how to adapt in all circumstances with a positive attitude by example
• Innovative spirit and strength of proposal
• Excellent command of common IT tools
