Full description
Do you want to design and monitor wood construction projects? This engineering function covers technical solutions, calculations and implementation supervision.
We are looking for a wood engineer / wood engineer for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop various projects in wood construction (structure, building, mountain construction, historical monument,...) involvement in all phases of projects
- Technical support for special carpentry and fire protection
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and internal teams to provide suitable technical solutions
- Completing the static calculations, dimensioning and engineering plans necessary for carrying out the projects
- Oversee the implementation of projects by ensuring compliance with quality standards and standards
- Participate in continuous improvement of business processes and innovations
Your profile
- Degree in wood engineering or equivalent training
- Confirmed experience in wood construction
- Mastery of design tools (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc.) and 2D/3D structure computing software (DLUBAL RFEM or equivalent)
- Knowledge of wood/metal calculation rules (SIA260/261/263/265 or Eurocodes 0/1/3/5)
- Knowledge of Swiss fire protection standards an asset
- Excellent communication skills
