Main responsibilities
- Job Responsibilities
- Leads the Master Data Product setup and lifecycle, independent of specific source systems
- Manages and directs a small external team (4 people) delivering the Master Data Data Products and Snowflake capabilities.
- Manages the end‑to‑end request process for new/changed Master Data Data Products: intake, governance board engagement, approvals, coordinating with source system owners.
- Designs and implements the Data Product technically in Snowflake (pipelines, datasets, exposure for consumption).
- Coordinates closely with the Data Quality team and Ataccama so data quality rules run on Snowflake datasets from the Master Data Data Products.
- Serves as the main operational contact for ongoing demand, changes, and incident/support needs around the Master Data Data Products
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs and develop a product roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Define and prioritise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data and analytics products and ensure what was agreed gets delivered.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Teams and software developers to ensure that data and analytics products are integrated into existing systems and platforms in a sustainable way that still meets the needs of business to generate the insights necessary to drive their decisions.
Key requirements
- Education / Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Extensive experience leading complex data science projects from end-to-end and driving significant business impact.
- Proven track record of working closely with senior leadership to inform and influence high-level strategic business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide data science frameworks and best practices. Technical Skills
