For the Violence Medicine Unit

The Violence Medicine Unit, located at the Sierre hospital site, is responsible for consultations with people who have suffered domestic or community violence for the whole of Valais.

Mission

You conduct and supervise the unit's consultations. You work in an interdisciplinary way with the Valais Hospital and the various extrahospital partners. Depending on the situation, you refer patients to the various partner associations and institutions in Valais.

Profile

You have a federal medical degree or a degree recognized by the Federal Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO). You have one or more years of post-graduate training. You demonstrate interest in forensic issues, interpersonal violence and the care of vulnerable populations. You have excellent relational skills, listening skills and networking skills. You easily join a team. French or German mother tongue, you have good second language skills.
