The place of work of this office is in Visp, Switzerland. Eligible applicants and their families will be assisted in moving if needed.

At the Visp site, an investment team leader PCP (m/f/d) is sought. In this role, you support the growth of Bioconjugate by establishing and managing a new production line. They have overall responsibility for manufacturing results in terms of quality, quantity, safety and are a member of the PCP Manufacturing Leadership Team.

Their tasks

• Establishment and leadership of a team of Bioprocess Engineers (chemists, biologists), Teamleads Manufacturing and Manufacturing Specialists
• Responsibility for carrying out all production campaigns of its line in accordance with safety, quality and environmental protection guidelines
• Responsibility for all personnel topics such as qualification, development, coaching, new recruitments, salary and disciplinary topics
• Member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team
• Expert and contact person for all questions of production planning (S&OP process), technical evaluations and technical evaluations and feasibility studies
• Ensure and further develop regular performance and results controls, such as Weekly Reports, Dashboard, Hoshin Board and other reporting
• Project manager or member of CAPEX projects

Your requirement profile

• Bachelor or Master in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related degree programmes
• Several years of professional experience in chemical or biotechnological production, preferably in management positions, MSAT, engineering or similar
• Very good English and good German skills
• Comprehensive GMP knowledge
• Clear and winning communication with skill of interaction with all different contacts within the organization
• Good understanding of financial and HR processes and topics
