Full description
The incumbent of the position is involved in the production of plants, the sale and the development and maintenance of green spaces. It identifies the needs of the clientele, prepares the soil, makes the seedlings, transplants, propagates the plants and ensures the necessary care for their proper development. It monitors the health status of plants, treats diseases and pests, and then prepares plants for sale by advising customers on the choice of plants and products.
In the field of landscape, he is involved in the preparation of construction sites, earthworks, the installation of drainage systems and the construction of external structures such as walls, stairs, roads, borders and vegetated developments. It also provides for the maintenance of green spaces, including mowing, weeding, the size of hedges, trees and shrubs, as well as the cleaning of parks and walking places. Finally, he advises customers on the maintenance of vegetated buildings and surfaces. Holder of the M1 machinist's licence, he is also able to drive and use small construction machinery in connection with the exterior development work.
