The place of work of this office is in Visp, Switzerland.

The environmental monitoring department is committed to innovation and continuous improvement. Successful innovation projects are implemented through close cooperation with various departments. This internship focuses on optimizing the efficiency of monitoring processes, streamlining processes and improving overall quality.

Their tasks

• They gain a comprehensive understanding of current processes in engineering, cleanrooms and microbiological laboratories and drive identified improvements.
• As a team, you ensure a smooth process from sample management.
• You plan and carry out optimization processes in the environmental monitoring department.
• They monitor the correct implementation of improvements through close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• They communicate and implement the improvement plans together with the most important stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• You are currently enrolled or have recently (within the last 12 months) completed studies in life sciences, (micro)biology, pharmacy or a related subject (FH/BSc/MSc/Diploma).
• They have basic knowledge of microbiology.
• They are well versed in data analysis with e.g.: Excel, R-Script, Python or the like.
• They speak fluent German and English.
• They are communicative, self-motivated and work both independently and in a team.
• They enjoy solving efficiency problems and contributing to a collaborative, dynamic environment.
• They are proactive in capturing information quickly, taking on challenges and successes and bringing added value to a young and innovative team.
