To strengthen our Process Technology team within the R&D department in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently seeking a (Senior) Chemical Engineer or Process Engineer. ## Key
• Responsibilities
• In this role, you will be part of interdisciplinary project teams alongside colleagues from R&D, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Product Marketing, representing and further developing your expertise in the field of chemical engineering.
• Development of processes and scale-up of chemical processes from laboratory to production scale
• Optimization of various chemical production processes in terms of yield, productivity, quality, safety, and ecology
• Supporting production teams in problem-solving, e.g., through process data analysis, specialized analyses, in-depth process knowledge, and coordination with various stakeholders
• Planning, supervising, and evaluating experimental work on laboratory and pilot scale
• Advising on technical and commercial decisions and solving scientific problems
• Leading, coaching, and developing laboratory technicians
• Anticipating and implementing trends and innovations in your field of expertise ##
• Requirements
• MSc or PhD, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
• Relevant experience, preferably in process development and production
• Written and oral proficiency in German and English (C1 / B2)
• Proactive approach to work and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
