- The learning takes place over 4 years and leads to the Federal Certificate of SWC Capacity.
- Theoretical training:
- Courses are given at the Ecole Professionnel Artisanat Service Communautaire (EPASC) in Martigny for one or two days a week.
- Practical training:
- In-company practical training takes place at CIMO, under the responsibility of a trainer.
- The inter-company courses (CIE) take place at the Vocational Technical and Trades School (EPTM) in Sion.
- The trade
- As part of your apprenticeship, you will be asked to discover four options in the profession: piping, cauldron, locks and plastics.
In these 4 areas, you will make measurements, you will make unique parts according to 2D and 3D models, you will use advanced machines (CNC, robot, etc.), you will make welding through different processes, you will manufacture supports and will carry out the laying of these on the various construction sites.
