Midwife - midwife heads of care unit between 60 and 100% for the Obstetric Pole

Mission

• Be responsible for promoting and providing quality care in accordance with the institutional values of the Valais Hospital
• Ensure the quality of care for admitted patients and their families within the unit in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Manage staff, organize, coordinate, supervise care and activities at unit level
• Organize and supervise the teaching and training activities of staff, students and trainees in collaboration with the training manager
• Participate and collaborate in the implementation of medical-care services and transversal projects
• Apply community leadership to ensure a constructive and healthy work culture
• Being a proposal force for the development of unity
• Collaborate transparently with the hierarchy
• Collaborate and share projects with ICUS from other services

Profile

• Diploma of midwife/man midwife or
• HES nursing degree or training deemed equivalent recognized by the Red Cross
• Training in community management conducted or to be carried out
• Several years of practical experience in a maternity service
• Ability to promote and develop quality care
• Taste and ability to assume managerial and managerial responsibilities
• Initiative, leadership
• Creativity and sense of innovation
• Relationship qualities, meaning of negotiation and communication
• Ability to work as a team, sense of collaboration
• Dynamism, flexibility and great openness
• Mastery of IT tools and general office automation
