Their tasks
- Overall responsibility for the operational organisation and management of transport logistics
- Leadership of a small team in disposition and a larger number of chauffeurs
- Planning and coordination of an extensive own commercial vehicle fleet as well as on-demand use of external transport capacities
- Ensuring efficient and customer-oriented disposition
- Coordination of different transport orders in regional and interregional local transport
- Active support for scheduling in bottlenecks, failures and challenging situations
- Leadership, support and operational planning of the chauffeurs
- Organisation of holidays, absences, replacement and special missions
- Coordination of vehicle availability, repairs, maintenance and MFRP appointments
- Ensuring compliance with legal working, driving and rest periods
- Responsibility for the economic use of personnel, vehicles and external transport partners
- Direct contact with internal and external customers as well as pragmatic solution of customer concerns
- Rapid organisation of solutions in the event of vehicle failures, staff shortages, accidents or short-term changes
- Active further development of processes and processes in transport and disposition
Your profile
- Several years of experience in transport logistics with disposition
- Sound knowledge of road transport and its operational challenges
- Leadership experience in transport, logistics or comparable environment
- Experience in the operational planning of chauffeurs and commercial vehicles
- Good knowledge of the relevant legal regulations, in particular ARV as well as working, driving and rest times
- Technical understanding of commercial vehicles and enjoyment of a diverse vehicle park
- Entrepreneurial thinking and high cost awareness
