Introduction
For an upscale hotel operation with several gastronomic concepts, an entrepreneurial leader is sought for the overall management of the kitchen. The position offers the opportunity to actively shape culinary concepts and to further develop several outlets strategically and operationally. We are looking for a personality that successfully combines enjoyment, leadership and profitability.
Tasks
- You are responsible for the entire culinary orientation of several restaurant and bar concepts and develop them continuously
- You design seasonal food concepts and provide a harmonious gastronomic experience
- You lead a kitchen team of around 12 employees and promote its development through coaching and clear leadership
- You control goods management, purchasing, food cost and budget figures with high cost awareness
- Optimize processes and ensure that quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction remain at the highest level
- You maintain a close cooperation with suppliers as well as the areas of service, front office and F&B
Profile
- You have completed training as a chef / cook EFZ or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience as a chef or in a leading position within the upscale hotel industry or gastronomy
- You combine creativity with economic thinking and understand the requirements of modern kitchen organization
- You bring leadership skills and understand how to sustainably motivate and develop teams
- You work in a structured, resilient manner and keep an overview even in intensive phases of operation
- You have very good knowledge of German, other language skills are an advantage
