At the Visp site, an Operations Manager Manufacturing (m/f/d) is sought.

In this position, you are responsible for managing production facilities and manufacturing pharmaceutical-chemical products. Your main task is the timely and cost-efficient production of chemical active substances (API), in compliance with the legal regulations regarding safety, quality and environment.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the timely, high-quality and cost-efficient production of the assigned products in compliance with applicable safety, quality and environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Perform risk analysis to ensure quality and safety during the production process.
• Identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of production performance.
• Coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals such as cost-effectiveness and delivery reliability.
• Promote an efficient and successful working environment as well as effective communication with team members from different departments and customers.
• Adaptation to changing priorities and simultaneous management of multiple projects.

Your requirement profile

• Completed studies (PhD, Master) in the field of chemical or process engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in chemical and/or pharmaceutical production desired
• Knowledge in the field of GMP as well as business skills are advantageous.
• Fluent knowledge of German and English in words and writing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive and flexible working with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to take responsibility and continuously develop
