As Demand Manager Logistics (m/f/d), you are responsible for the precise planning, control and optimization of logistics demand at Lonza AG. With your analytics and forecasts, you help ensure an efficient, efficient and smooth supply chain.

Your tasks

• Development, implementation and continuous optimization of demand management strategies in the logistics environment.
• Precise demand forecasts through the analysis of historical data, market trends and customer requirements.
• Close cooperation with internal specialist areas such as production, purchasing and sales to coordinate demand and capacity planning.
• Identification of risks and opportunities within the supply chain as well as the development and implementation of suitable measures.
• Optimization of stocks, material flows and transport capacities based on reliable forecasts.
• Monitoring relevant supply chain indicators as well as identifying and implementing potential for improvement.
• Creation of meaningful reports, analyses and management presentations on demand and logistics development.
• Application and further development of demand planning tools and digital planning systems to increase transparency and efficiency.
• Continuous improvement of demand management processes, taking into account best practices and lean methods.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in the field of logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in demand management, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company or a comparable logistics environment.
• In-depth knowledge of demand planning, forecasting as well as supply chain management and inventory optimization.
• Secure handling of ERP systems (especially SAP) as well as common demand planning and analysis software.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high number understanding.
• Strength of communication and a secure presence in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
• Self-responsible, structured and solution-oriented working method as well as strong teamwork and hands-on mentality.
