You are an organizational talent, like to take part and keep an overview in a dynamic environment? For our customer in Brig, we are looking for a reliable personality who combines operational farm logistics with coordination tasks and wants to develop further in the area of shunting service and rail.
TASKS
Professional management of the team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Coordination and control of shunting manoeuvres, train handling and technical train inspections
Contact person for control centre, transport management, network line and locomotive personnel
Monitoring of operational processes and equipment as well as rapid resolution of disruptions
Cooperation in the further development of lifting and maneuvering concepts as well as in process optimization
Handling of swap containers between lorries and railway wagons
Loading, unloading, provisioning and bridging of swap containers
Ensuring timely collection and delivery
Active participation in general handling work on the site
Requirements
Cat C or C/E driving licence
Compulsory readiness for further training as shunting A40 and wagon examiner
Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
Willingness to shift work from Monday to Saturday, including public holidays
Good physical condition and pleasure in practical work
Strong organisational talent, networked thinking and high reliability
Customer-oriented working methods and a strong sense of responsibility
Secure use of modern means of communication and openness to digital systems
