At the Visp location, a learnerr automatic technician is sought. As an automatic engineer, you develop electrical and pneumatic controls. You assemble and wire switchgear cabinets, carry out commissioning and maintenance work of controls and systems. In addition, you process plastic and metal housings, solder components on boards and create cables for connecting laboratory equipment and control systems. Repairing faulty devices is also part of your job. You work on assignments and projects together with other experts.

Your education The teaching lasts four years. The practical training is completed by automatists in the teaching company. This is complemented by intercompany courses. You attend the vocational school for a maximum of two days per week. During the first half of teaching, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid in basic training. The focus is on mechanical and electrical production technology, automation modules with topics such as measurement technology, circuit technology, electrical machines, measurement and control technology as well as subject-specific occupational safety.
