At the Visp site, a learner electrical installer EFZ is sought As an electrical installer at Lonza, you wire residential, work and industrial plants and lay electrical lines in pipes and cable channels. You mount switch cabinets and connect them. But also works such as programming of small controls and building automation systems are included. During your training, you will learn how to control electrical installations and put them into operation. In maintenance, you use your troubleshooting skills and repair faulty equipment.

Your education The training lasts four years in the teaching company. Vocational school on average takes about one day a week. During the first half of the apprenticeship, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid in basic training. The focus is on manufacturing technology, circuitry and measurement technology and microcomputer technology. In the second half of the apprenticeship, the focus training follows in operational areas of activity. In this training phase, the trainees deepen their knowledge and skills through exemplary learning on production contracts and projects.
