The place of work of this office is in Visp, Switzerland. Eligible applicants and their families will be assisted in moving if needed.

At the Visp site, an investment master (m/f/d) is being sought to strengthen the team in the field of small molecules at Launch Plant. As a plant master (m/f/d), you ensure the production of intermediates and active substances in compliance with the occupational safety, hygiene and GMP guidelines through intensive operational and organisational support of the production campaigns in multipurpose plants.

This body requires a continuous presence on site. Personal collaboration enables close, timely cooperation and the technical precision required for the production of medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Their tasks

• Share responsibility for the availability of equipment – this includes safety, order and cleanliness, troubleshooting and coordination of maintenance in cooperation with the technical service
• Co-responsibility for a good level of training of employees involved in a project resp. assigned to the installation with regard to GMP, occupational safety and hygiene and expertise
• Together with the person responsible for cleaning, is responsible for the organisation and implementation of the cleaning before running-in as well as cleaning after the end of the campaign and the restoration of the plant
• Monitoring and supporting the production of products through risk analysis, plant conversion, technical optimisation, educt provision and coordination of work between operation, laboratory, logistics and technical service
• Implements the vision and culture of the company and supports development through openness to change, new ideas and continuous improvement

What we are looking for

• Preferably a completed training as a chemical and pharmatechnologist (chemical), as a chemistry laboratory or corresponding experience in this field
• They are characterized by high flexibility, teamwork, organizational ability and a high commitment.
• Very good knowledge of German, English is an advantage
• Readiness to provide piquetting service must be available
