Mission

Within the adult psychiatry of Malevoz Hospital, you intervene in a context of crisis hospital care.

As part of a medico-care and interdisciplinary team, you get support for taking up the job, including time for supervision and exchange of practice, and you:

• Assess the functional and occupational capacities and needs of adult patients hospitalized in acute psychiatry
• Design and implement individual and group occupational therapy interventions adapted to the hospital crisis context
• Ensure the quality, consistency and continuity of occupational therapy services in close connection with medical-care teams
• Take care of various, sometimes complex, clinical situations within an interdisciplinary team
• Participate in the supervision, improvement of professional practices and development projects of the Medico-Therapeutic Sector of the Valais Hospital

Profile

• Diploma of occupational therapist or training deemed equivalent
• Interest in the field of psychiatry; an initial experience is an asset
• Ability to promote and develop individual and group care
• Excellent relational qualities and sense of communication
• Taste for teamwork and interdisciplinary work
• Adaptability, dynamism, flexibility and initiative
