100% Assistant Surgical Specialist This unit operates mainly in Sion, Sierre and Martigny.

Mission

• Clinical care of hospitalized and outpatient patients
• General and visceral surgery practice
• Maintenance of the recognition of the Valais Hospital as a centre of visceral surgery for highly specialized medicine (MHS)
• Participation in the management and development of the general surgery department
• Participation in teaching activities for assistants, students and paramedical staff
• Participation in multidisciplinary meetings, collaboration with academic centres
• Participation in surgical wardens in collaboration with the emergency department in a Trauma Center (MHS) level centre

Profile

• Federal General Surgery Specialist or equivalent
• Comprehensive training in visceral surgery or equivalent
• Colorectal orientation
• Several years of experience as head of clinic in a university hospital
• Cooperation, commitment and availability
